Grief, Loss & Life Transitions
Loss and significant life changes can affect our sense of stability, identity and emotional well-being. The experience may involve grief, uncertainty, confusion or difficulty adjusting to a new reality. Everyone responds differently, and there is no single timeline for navigating such experiences. Personal counselling provides a supportive space to acknowledge these emotions and make sense of what has changed.
Areas of focus
- Bereavement
- Separation and significant personal losses
- Major life transitions
- Retirement and changing responsibilities
- Uncertainty about the future
Counselling can help individuals process their experiences at their own pace, recognise available sources of support and gradually adapt to changing circumstances. The purpose is not to erase the past, but to find ways of carrying it forward while making space for life as it unfolds.
